I love me some Movies On Demand. Twenty years ago I lived near a community that was testing this new technology that would allow them to watch anything they want to. The thought of being able to stream Terminator 2 directly to my television was too much to fathom; not to mention being able to skip past commercials when watching regular TV.
Fast forward to today and Movies On Demand is a fabulous treat in the Mojo house. I use it when my wife is out of town to watch action movies and my wife uses it when I’m out of town to watch musicals or feel good movies.
My wife just watched Joyful Noise the other week. Personally I find that title ironic because it’s highly likely I wouldn’t have found the movie joyful at all. She, however, loved it and its happy story of a church choir gave her a respite from the chaos of two noisy children.
Movies On Demand has some supa dupa releases that came out in June. Safe House with Denzel, Machine Gun Preacher with Gerard Butler and Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows with the ubiquitous Robert Downey Jr. Fans of the 80’s may dig the big screen update of 21 Jump Street; it just became available and looks hilarious.
Jeff, Who Lives at Home is the latest movie by funny guy Jason Segel. He’s a slacker who lives in his mother’s basement. On the way out of the house to get some wood glue he looks for divine intervention as to what he should do what his life. The movie also stars Ed Helms and is the kind of off-beat comedy that will entertain parents after a long day and inspire them to not allow their children to live there.
You can win a $25 Visa Gift Card and a Jeff, Who Lives at Home prize pack that includes: a backpack, wood glue, t-shirt, candy & snacks.
The Twitter Party!!
I do love a good Twitter Party. On July 5th at 8:00 PM ET, follow the hashtag #MODSummer and the host: @momspark. Daddy Mojo will be co-hosting the party that will be loaded with prizes and movie chatter.
This sponsored post was made possible by Mom Spark Media. I was compensated for my time investment and work on this campaign. Thoughts are my own. All prizing for MSM giveaways is handled by a third party unless otherwise noted. For this reason prize fulfillment can take up to 90 days after the winner’s information is received.
