The Father’s Day #DestinationDad resort is Sears #AD

Father’s Day is literally just around the corner.  This brings about the whole discussion of wants and needs.  If I need something, like socks or underwear, then I’ll buy it myself.  However, if I want something, I’ll lay subtle or not so subtle hints for the wife.  Sears has you covered with #DestinationDad this year, those with facial hair, manly traits or techy dispositions will all but try to book a weekend stay at their local store to explore the hours of happenings.

Facial hair, while not required, may pay off big time.  While at Sears be sure to “Snap your Stache”, just take a picture of your moustache, post it and you could win the Ultimate Father’s Day Gift.  It’s a grip to the Craftsman MAKEcation where you’ll meet a celebrity, make whiskey, roll cigars, grill steaks and learn basic survival skills.  I think I just amped my testosterone by typing that.   The search is nationwide, so bring the handlebars my brothers.

Runner ups will receive all manner of Craftsman tools.  Yes, enter now.  You can enter through Sunday, June 15 at midnight.  As a bonus you’ll get some Shop Your Way Points just for entering that styling stache of yours. Bonus, even if you put a pencil, finger or something pretending to be a stache under your nose and enter you can still win 250,000 points in Shop Your Way.

When the kids and I went to Sears recently we made a morning out of it.  Of course we stopped in at the technology section and took a look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab3.

I checked out the Kenmore 4 Burner Gas Grill.  Yes, I’ll get my cook on this summer and odds are you will too.

The kids and I took a break on the sofa in the Land’s End area.  Resting is important when shopping, don’t forget that.

I got a quick work out in.  You’ve gotta get the blood pumping to shop smart.  A stylin 70’s era t-shirt also helps.

And we just had to check out the Craftsman 263 Piece Mechanics Tool Set.  It’s useful and doubles as a workout on its own.

For dads there is guaranteed something at Sears for them this Father’s Day.  It’s #DestinationDad, if you don’t know, just get a gift card and send them loose.  They’ll come back happy and with something they need and want.

Recap: get a photo of your stache, pretend or not, enter and you might win.  For Father’s Day goodies pop by Sears and just let him loose.

Disclosure: I partnered with Sears and Life of Dad, LLC for this Father’s Day promotion and was compensated for my involvement.  All thoughts are my own.
