Children love to build. It could be stacking things that make no reason, traditional blocks or building toys, they’ll build something. For young children First Builders™ Fast Tracks™ Raceway (pardon the pun) builds on that by allowing kids to build and race cars. This is a big block set that is perfectly suited for children 1-5.
We have a 3 and 5 year old. They both love playing with it, but as expected the older one can build more complex things. Our youngest loves playing with it but does needs direction to actually build something that the ramps can be attached to.
Setting up the stickers on the blocks was super simple and took me 2 minutes. Initially our oldest was intent on building the platform exactly as it looks in the photo. However after lots of encouragement he is open to building his own tower creations that have a ramp going down for aspiring scale model stunt drivers.
During the more traditional racing times we’ll build ramps that are beside each other. One of them will knock over the structure and we’ll build something new. Sometimes they’ll just build a large tower, only to knock it over. It’s just like it will be at your house when you win this.
Mega Bloks First Builders Fast Tracks Raceway has big parts so there is no danger of them swallowing anything. It comes with two cars that are made up of three pieces, so you can mix & match the colors.
