The Force is strong with this giveaway.  Fans that saw Star Wars in movie theaters back in the day were thrown for a loop when they announced that a cartoon would be made.  Dismay, anger and puzzlement ensued.  However, we saw Star Wars Rebels:  Spark of Rebellion and were incredibly surprised at how good it was.  Put the light sabers away, this movie and this show does the classic story justice and will entertain all ages.

The high points of the music that you remembered (and loved!) are in there, as are the classic and very distinctive sound effects.  The cool sound of a light saber and speeder zipping across the desert plains are all there.

I was most surprised at how much I liked the story in Spark of Rebellion.  It’s set five years before Star Wars Episode IV and follows the adventures of the starship Ghost.  It’s good, it’s very good.  We took our 5 year old to see it and he loved it.  If you can’t wait to win one of our two copies it’s available for purchase now too.
