It’s #HintingSeason at @BestBuy, LG OLED TV is great for the family (and me) #Ad

We’ve been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.  With Christmas and the holidays coming up you might be in the market for a new television.  If you’re looking for something really and truly cutting edge you have to look at the LG OLED TV.  That’s whole lot of capital letters that add up to one of the most unique, beautiful and great pictures that you’ve seen on a television.

Best Buy this holiday season

Did you ever see Minority Report?  It was an OK movie but at the time it featured whiz bang technology that seemed so out of this world that one didn’t think it was possible.  The LG OLED TV is like that.

First off the screen is curved.  Aside from looking like a real movie theater the curved screen is designed so that your eyes are the same distance to any part of the screen when you’re watching it.

The LG OLED TV has 4 Color Pixel Technology.  This adds a white sub-pixel to the three colors (red, green and blue); the extra white adds a more color and accuracy to what you’re watching.  The 4 color Pixel is exclusive to LG and their pinch-me-I’m-dreaming technology behind the OLED TV.

It’s hard to believe that just a couple of years ago I had a TV that was 30” deep.  The LG OLED TV is .17 thin at its skinniest point.  The television has just two layers, thin as a cracker and lightweight too.

The LG OLED TV has Infinite Contrast.  I know that sounds like a superhero movie, but in this case it means that the pixels in the OLED can switch on and off individually.  This means that the contrast ratio can be infinite.  For an example of how deep colors can go with the OLED TV just check out the black horse on their site.

It comes ready to stream faster than other televisions because it has webOS, has 4 HDMI ports, is 3D-Ready, a media card slot, is ENERGY STAR certified and more.

Sure we’d watch Doctor Who and Arrow on this, but just think of watching your family photos or videos on this.  Yikes, the resolution, curved screen and overall impact of watching it on the LG OLED TV just makes my head swim in a sea of happy television and sofa surfing.

You can check out the LG OLED TV in person at your local Best Buy to see if this is the television that will complete your living room.   Bonus:  the everyday price at Best Buy for it is $3499.99, that’s a $500 savings.
