Need to upgrade your photo tech? Best Buy has it all

When I didn’t have built in WI-FI on my camera I thought that it was a gimmick. Who needs to share photos from your camera when you’re shooting, because that’s what you do with your phone, right?   Besides I can just get the cord out, connect it and then transfer the photos when I get home.

Now that I’ve been using my camera with built in WI-FI that last sentence sounds so cute and antiquated.  It is such a time saver to have my photos synch up with my home computer automatically.  I set mine up to synch with Dropbox and the moment I get home the photos are on my computer to share, edit and work with.

I’ve had the Samsung Galaxy for more than a year and absolutely love it.  The Samsung Galaxy 2 is simply the next generation in this compact camera that satisfies the needs of most casual camera users.  It shoots at 16.3 megapixels and has a 4.8” touch screen, 21 X zoom and high-definition movies.

The Samsung Galaxy 2 is what I call, intelligent point and shoot.  While it’s capable of manual shooting where you can tweak the aperture or shutter, you can also set it to automatic.  It’s also incredibly compact, just slightly bigger than my smart phone.  Whenever I get my camera out people are confused and think it’s my phone.  No, it’s my camera, just my really great camera that takes stunning photos.

Another option for compact cameras is the Sony Alpha a6000.  It packs an amazing 24.3 megapixels, shoots HD movies and can shoot is numerous settings including panoramic, low light and more.  One feature that will really allow the camera to show off is the Exmore APS-C CMOS sensor that allows the camera to shoot with amazing clarity.

One of our other cameras is a Nikon.  We do love Nikons.  The Nikon D5300 DSLR is the next evolution for SLRs.   It comes with built in WI-FI, 24.2 megapixels and has a viewing panel that rotates-so it’s not affixed to the back of the camera.   Also, as this is an SLR it has a detachable lens which is what many more advanced camera users may want.  You will also note the size of the Nikon D5300, it’s noticeably smaller, yet much more powerful than other Nikon cameras.

All of these cameras are on sale right now at Best Buy.  One of them is bound to suit your shooting needs.  However, if not, Best Buy has more digital camera than you can shake a stick at.
