Six Flags Over Georgia Hiring Hundreds of undead entertainers

Who says the undead aren’t any fun? Well, it wasn’t us because A. We like our souls. B. Have plenty of axes nearby at any time and C. Have a healthy distrust of anyone pale who wears black all of the time. However, I did work at a theme park for several years doing a variety of jobs as an entertainer and can vouch for how transformative of a job this can be. This casting call is out to prove that there is #NothingScarier than Fright Fest at Six Flags Over Georgia.

Six Flags Over Georgia is hiring 400 Fright Fest team members to transform the park from to a scream park. That figure is a 33% increase from its season hiring last year. They’re also introducing 12 new scare zones to ramp up the fear factor with frightfully effective flair.

The new scare zones will include ZMB, which gives attendees a chance to look at the behind-the-scenes work that goes to transform the actors into ghouls, zombies and more. The Mourning is a ceremonial wailing that guests will hear as they enter the park.  Big Top Terror is a circus conducted by a Wicked Ringmaster with all manner of evil and petrifying zones.

There are also five haunted mazes and four live shows. Fright Fest runs on selected nights starting September 26 at 6PM and goes through November 1. Also on the first night there is the second annual Spooky Walk-n-Wag Dog Halloween Costume Walks.  Families can dig into tamer Halloween thrills during the day with a corn maze, pumpkin painting, trick-or-treating and family-friendly costume parties.

During each night of Fright Fest, zombies, monsters and other scary actors will be released into the park to roam, scare and inspire fear just outside of the historic Crystal Pistol Music Hall.

If you’re a singer or dancer your audition is Saturday, July 25 at 10AM.  Scare actors, specialty actors and make-up artists should register at 3PM. All of the interviews and auditions will be held at Jeannie T. Anderson Theatre, 548 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA.  This is also part of the Cobb Civic Center.
