I’m dreaming of an LG Studio Kitchen at Best Buy, come see why

Our house was built in the mid 80’s and the appliances were new to it in the mid 90’s. If I touch our dishwasher for long enough I can channel Faith by George Michael. Then I start wondering about Andrew Ridgeley, I’ll text my wife about the funny scene from Music and Lyrics (the whole movie basically) and bam, dinner is over cooked and the dishwasher needs to be cycled. It’s a scene from the island of lost kitchens, which is right next to the island of lost toys, and is quite relevant this time of year. We got to experience a new LG kitchen from Best Buy and I think our current kitchen was trying to tell me something because my dishwasher just told me that WHAM! broke up.

These are the three items at Best Buy that you need to save money #ad

We were compensated for this post. All thoughts are our own and we really do like faster downloads, streaming TV, saving money and watching live TV. My wife and I are a great team and we each know our role. She’s the type that is less likely to start something while I’m the one that is less likely to complete a project. Know your role. We installed a Nest Learning Thermostat, Netgear Nighthawk DST Router with DST Adapter and Sling TV; all from Best Buy, with each one doing amazing things.

Robot boxing in our #ManCave, our wish list item at Best Buy

It a Hugh Jackman film from 2011 about robot boxing. It’s a fabulous film that my wife even liked, it’s not that she’s a movie snob, she just went in with low expectations-partially due to my constant raving about it. In my ideal man cave I would have a robot boxing ring like this vision of robotic wresting on the Best Buy site.

Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader board game review

Hey there, we received a copy of the game for review purposes, all thoughts are our own. My wife and I have game night in the house. Sometimes it’s chess, really, occasionally we’ll play chess, it’s not just some snooty thing I’m saying to increase my SAT score. Recently we played the Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader board game. While it took us a couple of games to find our footing, it’s a fun game that anyone eight and older can play with ease and enjoy.

The air in the house is giddy. The children are excited to start school; we’re pumped for a couple of reasons, not the least of which is life getting back to a schedule of sorts. We’ve done the back-to-school shopping. Even for kids going into preschool and kindergarten there are lots of things to purchase at our local Kroger. One item that was on our list was Ziploc® brand bags with Easy Open Tabs; but not just for the purposes of school lunches, although we did get some specifically for a new cookie recipe we created.

When you have lots of small pieces to something the box will invariably get crushed or disappear. Our youngest child loves cards and that is A-OK with us because they are a fabulous learning tool. He tries to open card decks that are brand new just to make a mess out of them. For him it’s akin to opening a new book just to get that ‘new book’ smell.
