Kids not coping with sleeptime? The #BedTimeBattle has an ally with Elo Pillow #ad

That book.  You know the expletive laced book that expresses the feelings when parents, at the end of their leash, internally scream, GO TO BED.   It’s something that all parents might experience at some point.  Some parents deal with children that won’t stay in bed on a nightly basis.  Some just need the occasional gentle push to their children.  The Elo Pillow is ready to be added to your arsenal in the #BedTimeBattle.  It’s a pillow that tells stories to children when their head’s are on the pillow.

Elo Pillow in use

The Elo Pillow was created by two mothers, one of which imagined a magical pillow that would tell stories to her child that kept getting out of bed.   When they would get out of bed the pillow would stop the story.  It’s a noted fact that ALL children love stories so it was just a matter of time before technology met at the intersection of this magic pillow.

It’s only recently that our oldest has been finicky about going to sleep.  He’s tired, but he’s aware that mom and dad are working in the office and that some element of fun might be happening.  Sadly, he is incorrect, but he never believes me when I say that.

The Elo Pillow is set up wirelessly to your computer.  This is so that you can download any books that your child might like.  There are over 150 books in the Elo Store available ranging from Clifford, Curious George, Bernstein Bears, Pirates and lots more.  The download books are tagged with their ideal age and length, most of which are around half an hour.

Push the on button twice quickly and it’ll turn on with a calming chime, relaxing music and then launch into a book.  Your Sleeplist, or queue of books is easy to change.  Just pick what book you want them to listen to and then send it to Elo Pillow. Once you turn the pillow on it’ll synch up and your sleepy little prodigy will be good to go.

Our concern with the pillow was the volume.  The volume is perfectly adjusted to where you have to put your head to the pillow in order to hear the story.  It’s not loud and is just enough for them to hear it without being too much and keeping them awake.

Our children are great sleepers (knock on wood…) and warming up to their Elo Pillow.  “It’s my Clifford story”, the oldest said as he put his head on the pillow.  He would pick his head up and put it back down to hear the story go on and off as if he were checking to see if the refrigerator light stays on when the door is closed.
