Being married is great. It means that you’ve found your soul mate, the person who’ll love you forever and who accepts you for yourself. You still want to smell good for your spouse though, especially on date nights.
The folks over at NIVEA sent us some NIVEA for Men Platinum Protect Deodorizing Body Wash and Replenishing Lip Balm to try out. The body wash has a crisp citrus smell that isn’t too powerful and kept us from stinking up the joint, even during the oppressive heat that Atlanta offers. It’s a muted smell in that it won’t replace after-shave, cleans your skin and leaves a fresh smell on you, which is good.
It was good timing for the NIVEA for Men Lip Balm because my lips were cracking due to the sun. Lip balm is simple, as long as it works-awesome. This works, has lots of vitamins and doesn’t leave a shine on your lips. Men with shiny lips don’t look cool on dates is man rule #785 I think.
When I was single I had some horrible dates. One such horrible date had me picking up said girl at her friend’s house and going to McDonalds. Halfway through the ‘date’, which up until this point had lasted 10 minutes, I said, “This isn’t working out. Do you want to go home now?” I’m so thankful to be married now.
