Escape from Planet Earth is the animated story of Scorch, an astronaut who likes adventure and discovering new worlds.  One day Scorch receives a distress call from a notoriously dangerous planet.  Despite his nerdy brother’s warnings, Scorch gets in his rocket ship to the dangerous planet for his latest rescue. 

The twist in Escape From Planet Earth is that Scorch is a little blue alien from the planet Baab.

When Scorch comes to Earth he’s captured by Agent Shanker (voiced by William Shatner) who puts him in a jail just for extraterrestrials.  With Scorch trapped it’s up to his brother, Gary, the head of mission control for BASA on their home world, to rescue him.

Escape Form Planet Earth also features the vocal talents of Jessica Alba, Steve Zahn, Jane Lynch, Sara Jessica Parker,  Rob Corddry, Sofia Vergara and Paul Reubens.  The movie comes out in theaters on February 15.  You can watch videos from the movie and get lots more information just by visiting their site.
