Children are dirty, filthy little people that haven’t learned to avoid messes. Is it that they intentionally seek out messy situations or are they simply playing with reckless abandon and we adults are the ones who need to get dirtier?  A valid argument could be made for either case. This summer the kids played in the back yard, got multi colored ice cream on their clothes, discovered new foods and realized that daddy sorts out the whites from the colors when he does the laundry.
