Thanks A Ton! is a Hello!Lucky joint that screams with happiness and bright colors, while teaching kids how to say ‘thanks’.

Thanks A Ton!, teaches ‘thanks’ as only Hello!Lucky can

When we last saw the Hello!Lucky team, they were up and at ‘em with Go Get ‘Em Tiger. In Thanks A Ton! their bright, maniacally happy presentation is back with a cadre of animals and the goal of getting kids to laugh and say ‘thank you. If you haven’t seen a Hello!Lucky book or any of their graphic artwork it’s unmistakable.

Their artwork is happy, first and foremost. From their website, you’ll see all manner of cards, stickers, books, or anything that could possibly comfort a child or make them grin. Thanks A Ton! has a wide cast of animals doing what they do best. It’s all being led by an elephant narrator who is rhyming words that aren’t normally associated with one another.

The elephant is rhyming terrapin with win. The elephant is thanking someone for the time that they shared their room with a big baboon and lots more, all as bright as a pink neon sun with the larger-than-life font. Similar to Tiger, Thanks A Ton! is mainly intended for young children. However, the book is not out of place as a gift to a young-at-heart person who is deserving of a non-traditional ‘thank you’. Again, the book is meant for children, but in the vein of giving or receiving Oh, The Places You’ll Go as a college graduation gift.

For children, Thanks A Ton! is meant for children, keep saying that to yourself. Young children need to be taught how to say thanks and how it feels to have ‘thank you’ in an earnest and sincere way to you. This book accomplishes that with grins and so much charm you’ll wish that you’re able to package it for those adults who could use a little bit of this book in their life.

Thanks A Ton! is by Sabrina Moyle with illustrations by Eunice Moyle and available on Abrams Appleseed, an imprint of Abrams Books.
