New All Age Comic Books for Wednesday, October 14, 2015

It’s #NCBD and things are looking grim. Well slightly grim anyway with all of the zombie comics coming out this month. In the midst of all this there are still lots of new all age comic books that anyone can enjoy. If you don’t have the time or patience to read through the list you can also dig into the podcast. We’ll talk about the comic, explain what their pros are and tell you which ones we’re most excited about for the week.

Adventure Time #45 is a one-shot issue this week. If you’re curious about the series and don’t want to jump mid way through a story arc, this week is for you. Bat-Mite #5 (of #6), Grimmis Island trade papeback and Lumberjanes Beyond Bay Leaf is also a one-shot, full of monsters and strong willed female campers. Mickey Mouse #5, Uncle Scrooge #7 and Walt Disney Comics & Stories 75th Anniversary Special all come out this week for fans of the mouse house.

Old school fans will gravitate towards Peanuts trade paperback #6 that collects 17-20 of the monthly series, Scooby-Doo Where Are You #62 and Spongebob Comics #49 will take care of you also.

It’s just over two weeks until Halloween. Get your mini-packs of comic books this week. They’re packages of 25 mini-comics that you can give out on Halloween or for any occasion and they only cost $4.99. It’ll last longer than candy and be much cooler, except for that family that always gives out full size candy bars.

The music on the podcast is by The Losers and you can catch more of their stuff at Free Music Archives. The links with the comics will take you to TFAW where you’ll save up to 20% on your comic orders. To find the closest comic book store to you today just follow accordingly.
