Recovery from a Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy: Melanoma surgery
When you wake up from your Sentinel Lymph Node surgery you’re groggy and won’t remember much. Groggy is putting it mildly as I couldn’t remember how I got dressed to leave the hospital. It was an 8 hour bar bender that left me hungry and curious, complete with a stop at Arby’s on the way home.

Melanoma is a complex thing- lots of blogs go into detail about what stage is this or what astrological sign that is. This is my experience with melanoma. You’re not really consulting a blog that bills itself as ‘poop culture’ for valid medical advice about your specific case, are you? Continue reading What to expect from your Melanoma surgery
Planning for a dog’s 4th of July and their nutrition #cbias #ad
In my previous life I worked at a large humane society where I did their social media and fundraising for five years. During that time I heard hundreds of animal tales, learned about healthy dog treats and basic pet safety. The 4th of July is great fun for humans, but can be a life altering day for dogs. For us we’re going to treat our guys to some chicken jerky for dogs, BBQ at home and be thankful for all that we have. Continue reading Planning for a dog’s 4th of July and their nutrition #cbias #ad
