We do family pizza night at least once a week. Personally I’ll do pizza up to 3 times a week, but don’t tell my wife. However, every Friday I cook pizza for the boys. We usually buy the pre rolled pizza dough in the plastic container at the grocery store. However, recently I got an email* by Mr. Poppin’ Fresh himself, letting me know that the Pillsbury Pizza Crust is new to the market.

It’s been said that the most expensive habit a guy ever has starts at .98. The subtle joke being that a Hot Wheels car is like a potato chip, you can’t have just one. I still have mine from back when I was a kid, our children have dozens of them and a couple of racing sets. All of this leads to the #HotWheels twitter party with Kmart on 2/12 at 1PM ET. We’ll have $200 in gift cards, which don’t have to be spent on Hot Wheels, but if you’re like this dad blogger and have boys you’ll probably end up using it for that anyway.

Valentine’s Day and procrastination go hand in hand around here. From a creative perspective, I embrace procrastination. From a gift giving perspective I try not to do it, but it sometimes falls between the cracks in the sofa. Caring for the kids during the day and working at night puts my time (and yours) at a premium. If you have children you’ll want to mark a period of their life by some sort of print. A hand or foot print is what you’ll go with and there are a couple ways to do it. We’ve made hand casts a couple of different ways, both with plaster and flour. Of the two, flour is much easier and produces better hand casts.
Certain phrases bring about a smile. #MoreLove is one of them. Small children are happy, uncontrollable running laboratories for things that adults can no longer get. Think Jurassic Park on a microbial level and put those tiny ill tempered Pteranadons in your child. One day our child had a rash around his mouth. My wife said, “oh, I bet he has hand, foot and mouth disease”. My immediate thought was hoof and mouth disease and then I remembered that Megadeth addressed this issue in their classic song Hook in Mouth.
