Jake and The Never Land Pirates, Who Shook Hook game is based on the Disney Channel cartoon.  Jake is a young boy pirate with his two cohorts, Izzy and Cubby who go around Never Land looking for treasure.   Their nemesis is Captain Hook, Smee and the Crocodile from the Peter Pan books and movies. Dr. Seuss Fun Machine lives up to its name

Dr. Seuss provides fond memories for everyone.  While the characters that provided that memory may change or be different for certain people, the memory is always pleasant.  Dr. Seuss Fun Machine combines physical play of old school games with the interactive experience of tablet games.  The app is free to download and doesn’t necessarily need the game tiles to be played, but is much more enjoyable if you have a combination of the two. Little Tikes around my house-and children too

We’re three years into children and like an athlete that starts a new sport we’ve noticed collections starting to appear.  There is the collection of balls, all different sizes and colors that go to different toys, but now just end up in a big pile called “Balls”.   In another part of the house there’s a box of plastic figures and spread out over the house (and in the garage) are assorted toys from Little Tikes. Our iPad is a great piece of machinery.  As Toddler Mojo gets older we’re learning more and more that it can be an invaluable tool in educating him and keeping dad sane.  The iPad sure isn’t a toy.  However, all of those stories you hear about children loving the iPad are true and sometimes those quiet moments your child has with it are priceless.

Mattel’s Clawdeen Wolf doll causes concern for parents

Toddler Mojo learned that he can close his eyes without going to sleep.  He’s started squinting, then laughing, squinting his eyes, closing them and then falling on the floor laughing with his eyes closed.  Some news stories make us want to close our eyes and this is one of them.
