If you own a home there is a great chance that you’ve worked with ServiceMaster in one way or the other. The first home that I bought came with a warranty from American Home Shield that covered the component in the house like the plumbing, electrical, HVAC and much more. At our current home we’ve used Merry Maids and Terminix ensures that termites don’t think of the wood in our house as a snack. ServiceMaster is the parent company of these, as well as, AmeriSpec, Furniture Medic, SericeMaster Clean, ServiceMaster Restore and are having a contest for $2,000 in GE appliances each week through July 6 and a Grand Prize Drawing for $5,0000 in Home Depot gift cards.
Either of those prizes would go a long way toward either improving or renovating your home. When it comes to home repairs and renovations it’s important to know your limitations. According to a study done by ServiceMaster they discovered that 58% were unprepared to address any issues, 54% weren’t knowledgeable on how to fix it and 83% said that they wanted one resource that could fix everything.
Personally, I know not to even attempt electrical or plumbing. I learned that through trial and error, mainly error. It’s always been safe, but the results did not have the professional appearance that you want. Do you have a DIY project that didn’t turn out the way that you wanted it to? When you’re a parent there are a couple defining moments for your children. I don’t mean graduation from school, learning how to ride a bike or other benchmark happenings. Just like how an inside joke is sometimes funnier than the practiced classic gag, the offhand things that your children do that really expresses their personality can be the thing that parent remember forever. That happened to us the other week.

Not only is it better in some ways than the original it does this while being part of the horror genre. Stop right there if the categorization of ‘horror’ puts you off from wanting to see The Conjuring 2 and consider how you might define horror.

Cirque is an amazing thing. Cirque of itself is short for Cirque du Soleil. However, if you simply say Cirque, people know what you’re talking about and what to expect. Within the world of Cirque du Soleil there are traveling shows-all of which have different dynamic personalities. Cirque is an amazing thing. To that, TORUK-The First Flight is coming to Infinite Energy Center from June 15 through Sunday June 19 and here’s your chance to win 4 passes to opening night.
TORUK-The First Flight is the latest Cirque de Soleil show and dives, or rather flies deep into the mythos of the world created by James Cameron’s AVATAR. Puppets, aerobatics, physical dynamics and a world class soundtrack, all set to the world of Pandora.
In TORUK-The First Flight the audience gets a front row seat to the Na’vi’s existence on Pandora. It’s all narrated by a “Na’vi” storyteller” and supported by the same stunning costumes and amazing athletics one expects from a Cirque de Soleil show. However, this is thousands of years before humans have set foot on Pandora and a natural catastrophe is threatening the sacred Tree of Souls. We’re just joking about the semi-haunted swag. But after viewing The Conjuring 2 you might believe in a very large struggle of good and evil. The film portrays a family whose young teen girls were playing with a Ouiji Board and opened the door to a really evil spirit that takes over the house and one of the girls. This is one of the true tales from Ed and Lorraine Warren investigated during their decades of research.
Did you see The Conjuring? If not, see it now. It’s a masterpiece of sublime scares that manages to grip viewers without engulfing them in blood and gore. Somewhere in the 80’s ‘horror’ became synonymous with blood and gore, which is unfortunate because those two do not have to go hand in hand with a scary movie. The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 hit the nail on the horror head. The Conjuring 2 is rated R for terror and horror violence. There isn’t much blood in the film, but there are countless life and death moments, as well as a sense of tension that lasts for 75% of the movie.
