It gave me the chance to chronicle my trips and travels. Today’s new cameras make me thankful for the images I was able to capture and let’s my mind wander about the prospects of me travelling with a high quality digital camera. There are lots of cameras at Best Buy, but they’ve got some storming deals on three of them in particular now; all of which I’ve played with and one that I own and use every day. Plus all three are equipped with built in WI-FI.

With TuneIn I travel to Japan, France-anywhere, without leaving home

I have partnered and was compensated by Life of Dad, LLC and TuneIn for this promotion I’m kind of a radio snob. I worked in radio for many years and am thankful that I don’t work there anymore. Pick a style of music, any music and it repeats and repeats-every 4-5 hours with a key couple of songs. I love most forms of music too, but my ears crave new sounds. To make matters more challenging I’m a music worker and am more productive when music is in the background. Cosplay for a cause, helping Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation

When we arrived at the party I saw lots of scars. Through the eye holes in my costume I could see that the scars on their heads were jagged, others straight and all of them varied in length. Some of the patients needed help walking, others danced into the room and others used crutches or wheelchairs to make their way. When our contact met us during the #RandomActsofBooing she told us about this event, but was hesitant on the details for a reason I now understood.

New all age comic books for Wednesday, December 17, 2014

It’s new comic book day and here’s a look at the new all age comic books being released today. Our top 4 this week are Jim Henson’s The Storyteller Witches #4, McBain, Peanuts #44 and Terrible Lizard #2.

We classify all age comic books as something anyone could read and not find violent, scary or otherwise inappropriate. Some of these titles might be rude and you wouldn’t want your kids reading it yet, like Mad Magazine, but that’s only because some of the humor there might be smarmy or rude.

Our #LeeGoodDeed challenge with Lee Jeans was win/win

I partnered and was compensated by Life of Dad, LLC and Lee for this. All thoughts are our own and we do love wearing pants. As part of our #LeeGoodDeed challenge we were offered 4 options by Lee Jeans. Because of the hectic nature of the week and the ages of our children the one that made the most sense was to take a friend’s children for the day. That brought our net total of children to four and thanks to my wife and serendipitous timing of multiple community events our day was packed.

Don’t be a luffa, #RealMenScrub with frank and it’s great

I partnered with Life of Dad and frank body for this promotion. Note: A luffa is a scrubber that is used in the shower. Aloof is an adjective used to describe someone who appears disoriented or uncaring. For example, ‘that guy sure is aloof about his hygiene, he smells like a billy goat and his temperament is questionable too’, but enough about some of the other dad bloggers involved in this. The first time I tried frank Body Scrub I immediately saw a difference and had unexpected results from people around me.
