Two years in-here’s what we learned streaming only #StreamTeam

I’m part of the #StreamTeam, a group of bloggers that works with Netflix.  All thoughts are our own. In the fall of 2012 my wife and I realized that we were watching the wrong kind of programming on television.  We were channel surfing and settling for things to watch, as opposed to seeking out the good stuff that we should’ve been watching.  It was then that we decided to stream all of the programming on our television.  Netflix has been a part of that including introducing our child to countless quality children’s programs, most of which are with a British accent.

Naptime DIY: How to install a Moen Corner Shelf with Grab Bar

We were provided with product for review purposes.  All thoughts are our own.   The Moen Corner Shelf with Grab Bar is simple to install and shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes from start to finish.  Of course, the best laid plans sometimes fall short and here’s how to salvage a simple Naptime DIY that, for one reason or another gets away from you.

Optimus Prime, Random Acts of Booing and #OrangeTuesday #ad

This is a compensated post.  All thoughts are our own and that really is us under the costume.  I do love to dress up.  However, I enjoy dressing up a bit more when it’s anonymous. To quote numerous bad lyrics, you can act a fool when you’re wearing a mask and it’s OK, acceptable, fun and occasionally inspiring.    We dressed up as Optimus Prime and went to a couple parties, both of which weren’t expecting us and here’s what we saw in our quest of discovering that life is more fun in costume from Buy Costumes.

With or without kids, life’s better in costume with Buy Costumes #Ad

This is a sponsored post, all thoughts are our own. Spoiler alert: I’m a dad.  When you have children dressing up is more fun.  I marginally enjoyed dressing up in costume when we didn’t have children.  Now that there are small people around who really get into dressing up; it is more fun and I am super eager to get into costume with them this year.  Children think you’re hiding behind a 2” tree, put on a superhero costume and you will have them jumping for joy.

Kids not coping with sleeptime? The #BedTimeBattle has an ally with Elo Pillow #ad

That book.  You know the expletive laced book that expresses the feelings when parents, at the end of their leash, internally scream, GO TO BED.   It’s something that all parents might experience at some point.  Some parents deal with children that won’t stay in bed on a nightly basis.  Some just need the occasional gentle push to their children.  The Elo Pillow is ready to be added to your arsenal in the #BedTimeBattle.  It’s a pillow that tells stories to children when their head’s are on the pillow.
