My wife and I don’t raise our children the way that you do. We certainly raise them the way that some of you, but not all of you. They go to sleep earlier than some of your kids, maybe watch more television that yours, possibly use the computer more and probably listen to more kindie. Having said that, so what? Dads clean up, but just in case Merry Maids can too #ad

We were compensated for this post. All thoughts are our own and the stories, regardless of how dirty are true. The fabulous house cleaning debate varies from house to house. In our house we do a fair job of splitting the cleaning duties. Overall, I do most of the cleaning, but that’s just because I’m the stay at home parent. Most is relative because there are still many periods when my wife starts cleaning something or asks me to get on it. May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month-cover up

This is a review and we received the clothing for that purpose. All thoughts are our own and true yo. That title sounds kind of preachy, the whole ‘cover up’ thing. The only reason that I can say it with a straight face is that I had Melanoma and it’s frightening. Woah, you mean I have Cancer, it’s in my skin- has the ability to travel to my organs and this is the deadliest form of Cancer around? They were some of the thoughts that I had that day when I was diagnosed.

The Phillips Norelco Shaver 9000 cuts close, quick and charges fast

I shave my head. It’s relevant to state that because it makes me shave my face more than I would like. For a while I tried shaving the head and letting the facial hair grow out. However, that look was not for me and it didn’t last long. We were offered the chance to review the Philips Norelco Shaver 9000. Normally we use an electric razor, except for those special occasions and were eager to try a new, cutting edge razor.

To old friends who are dads of all ages

I found out that a friend of mine from college was in town and I messaged him immediately to if he’d have time to get together. He said that he’d be in town for three days and would have some free time at the end of his conference. It was great seeing him again because it brought back some great memories and encouraged me about today’s young people.
