All age comic books for August 5

This week in all age comic books is back to some sense of normalcy. Normal, that is, if you grin from ear to ear when you see that the Transformers My Little Pony, Friendship In Disguise! mini-series is out this week with issue #1 of 4. This series looks so much fun. It certainly won’t be for everyone, but for those readers who like Transformers and can handle it when they’re not serious robots will love this. The previous Transformers crossover, like with Star Trek was awesome too.

If you have a middle school student who likes real-life graphic novels have them check out All Together Now from Hope Larson.  She’s a New York Times-Bestselling author who has a way of connecting with girls aged 10 and up. Do you have a pre-k reader who is coming to grips with the alphabet? If so, Disney Block is the latest in the Alpha Block series that will have ages two and up glued to the pages. It’s a durable book with interactive die-cut pages that goes from A to Z with Disney characters aplenty.

For the action set upper elementary and up they have Marvel Action Captain Marvel, Marvel Action Avengers, Star Wars: The Clone Wars Battle Tales #3 of 5, Usagi Yojimbo and more. There are also lots of free comic books for the all age audience. For all of those free comic books just check out their website to see what’s new this week and what you might want to get.

Happy new comic book day-in this week where we could all use a little fun in our lives. Where’s my closest comic book store? Just check out the comic book store locator. From there it’ll be a case to see if they’re open this week. If they aren’t then you can purchase digital copies directly from the publisher or purchase physical copies from the links in this post. Those physical copies will come from TFAW and might be delayed due to shipping and their staffing. However you’re thinking about getting those comic books this week be safe.

I hope that Power Rangers Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #4 gets the spotlight that it deserves. This team-up is fabulously entertaining. It combines action, great villains, lots of turtle puns and is one that ages 9 and up will enjoy. The mini-series also gives the Power Rangers a chance to shine. The first three issues in this series were awesome and the fourth one continues the story perfectly. Now here’s a look at all of the all age comic books this week.

Our favorite team-up in years is out this week….Power Rangers Teenage Mutant Turtles!

All Age Comic Books for November 6

It’s a great week for all age comic books. The 500 pound gorilla in kidlit arrives with its latest installment. While Diary of a Wimpy Kid Wrecking Ball is not a comic book, it’s such a big deal for elementary and middle school readers it merits mentioning here. Those ages won’t care about the plot, they’ll just want new adventures from the Heffley family. There are also some great releases from Marvel Action on IDW Publishing, a massive 100 page release from Teen Titans Go! and more.

This week in all age comic books: Care Bears, Wimpy Kid, Disney Frozen, Teen Titans Go! Giant, Marvel Avengers from IDW Publishing and more.
