Patema Inverted is original, mind bending anime for fans of the genre

The plot for Patema Inverted takes a moment to digest.  It’s the story of two teens who live on opposite gravities on the same planet.  Patema is a princess and lives underground in an industrial area while Age lives on the surface and is part of a totalitarian society.   So far, so good, right?  But here’s where it gets tricky.

November is known for Thanksgiving, Movember and now Dinovember.  This is only the second year of Dinovember.  It started out with Refe & Susan Tuma placing out their child’s plastic dinosaurs around the house doing various playful or mischievous things.  We first caught wind of them on their Facebook page and their first book, What the Dinosaurs Did Last Night is out now with 61 images of awesome.

A Letter to Momo, offbeat anime drama w/humor that works well

A Letter to Momo is an anime film that works on several levels, including the most elusive of all-getting non-anime fans to enjoy the film.  That’s no easy task considering that a focal point of the movie is the death of young girl’s dad very early in the film.   It’s from the creators of Ghost in the Shell and like that film is rich, detailed and provides a chamber of commerce look as aspects of Japan.

What if you died today?

I don’t mean that as a threat or an ultimatum, but rather, what if you were the victim of a tragic accident and killed today?  Don’t get me wrong, I’m an incredibly optimistic person.  I never obsess about the worst case scenario.  I do, however; acknowledge that it could occur, but I factor in all possible outcomes and accept that it will be one of those.  The worst case and the best case normally don’t happen, it’s somewhere in the middle.  But what if you, or I, never came home again to see our loved ones?

Life’s Good with the LG selection at Walmart and NCAA Football #Ad

Dig this, it’s a sponsored by Lunchbox about #LGCFB and NCAA Football.  All opinions are my own.   Before moving to Georgia I was a East Carolina Pirate.  In my four years there (yes, 4 years-graduated on time baby!) I only missed a couple of football games.  They were all great fun and introduced me into the world of NCAA Football.  Since then I’ve realized that if you can’t be there in person you at least want to be watching the game on a great LG television, probably bought at Walmart for a great price.
